Privacy Policy

Dusktide ("Dusktide", "the app", "we", "us") is developed by Rewaive. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. We built Dusktide to need as little of your data as possible — there are no accounts, no ads, and no analytics tracking.

Information stored on your device

Your sound panels (mixes), volume settings, sleep/wake timers, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this same data is synced through your own private iCloud account so it's available on your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID — we never see or have access to this data ourselves.

Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store, and entitlements are managed through RevenueCat. To do this, RevenueCat receives a device/app identifier and your purchase and subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details — that's handled entirely by Apple. Sound streaming

Sounds are downloaded on demand from our Cloudflare Worker at dusktide.app and cached on your device so they don't need to be re-downloaded. As with any web request, Cloudflare's infrastructure may log standard technical data (such as IP address and request timestamp) as part of normal operation. We don't use this data for tracking or analytics.

Notifications

Sleep timer and wake timer alerts are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us or any third party to make this work.

Casting (AirPlay & Chromecast)

To find and stream to Chromecast devices, the app accesses your local network — this is used solely to discover nearby cast devices and send them the sounds you choose to play. This never leaves your local network except for the cast device streaming the sound files from dusktide.app itself.

What we don't do

• We don't require an account or collect your name or email to use the app.
• We don't run analytics or usage-tracking SDKs.
• We don't show ads or share data with advertising networks.
• We don't sell your data. There isn't any to sell.

Deleting your data

Deleting a panel or resetting the app in Settings removes that data from your device immediately. Deleting the app removes everything stored locally; if iCloud sync was enabled, you can also remove Dusktide's data from iCloud via your device's iCloud storage settings.

Children's privacy

Dusktide is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
